Sweet & Salty Granola

Pantry staple, sweet and salty granola that everyone in your family will love.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Old Fashion Oats

  • 1.5 cups Nuts & Seeds (pre-chop any larger nuts)

    • I prefer chopped walnuts, slivered almonds and pepita seeds

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil (liquid - pre-melt if needed)

  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup

  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

  • 2 teaspoons of sea salt

  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (chopped if using larger pieces)

    • I prefer goji berries or dried blueberries

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F

  2. Thoroughly mix and combine all ingredients, except for the dried fruit, in a large mixing bowl

  3. Spread onto a parchment lined baking sheet

  4. Place on the middle rack of your preheated oven for 15 minutes

  5. Remove, stir, press flat and return to the oven for 10 minutes

  6. Remove and let cool for at least 15 minutes

  7. Sprinkle the dried fruit over top

  8. Break cup the granola into clusters and enjoy with milk, yogurt, over ice cream, on smoothies in more!

  9. Store in an airtight container in your pantry for up to 2 weeks
